Welcome to the Newport Jazz Festival. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the Newport Jazz Festival mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.
The Newport Jazz Festival is set to enrapture festival lovers once again. Our venue will leave you fascinated, captivated and enthralled. With performances ranging from classic to contemporary, traditional to avant-garde, each act will inspire you to greater heights.

Newport Jazz Festival
JVC began its jazz festival sponsorship in 1984. In its inaugural year, JVC sponsored festivals in Bad Segeburg, Germany, Nice, France, London, England and of course the legendary Newport Jazz Festival which was rechristened the JVC Jazz Festival Newport. Over the past 20 years, the JVC Jazz Festivals have been held all over the world and have presented over 47,000 individual musicians including some of the most legendary performers of the 20th century. Today, the JVC Jazz Festival continues to produce thriving live music events that maintain the musical heritage of jazz and presents many of the new directions in which jazz is headed in the 21st century.
